Puzzle-Platformer
Chrysanthemum is a side-scrolling 3D platformer set in a fantasy forest. The player plays as Raisa, a young girl who is in search of a legendary golden flower that can grant any wish. Chrysanthemum aims to tell an interesting and engaging story based around primary characters from backgrounds that are underrepresented in mainstream gaming media. Chrysanthemum takes place in a mystical and vibrant forest full of life and adventure.

Systems Development
One of my primary goals for Chrysanthemum was to develop all of the necessary framework to make the game function properly. From audio, to menus, to save data, everything must work together as one functional machine. Some of the core systems in this development included:

Save & Load System
Custom Controls System
Custom Audio System
User Interface System
Magic System

Designing User Interfaces
Another one of my main goals for this project was to design and implement a UI system that was both functional and looked appealing. Some of the core functionality of this UI system includes:

Display of Attribution
Customizable Player Input Menu
Customizable Player Name Input
Saving & Loading Game Slots
Loading Screen Between Scenes
In-Game Pause Menu
Player HUD
Enemy Health Indicators
Audio Development
My final role on this team was to create and integrate audio for Chrysanthemum. All of the musical tracks produced are original songs created using Bosca Ceoil. Sound effects were recorded and edited using Audacity or creating using free resources such as Leshy SFMaker.
