RECESS SHUFFLE
Multiplayer Party Game Prototype
Recess Shuffle is a party game prototype developed for my multiplayer development course at University of Baltimore. It takes inspiration from games such as Fall Guys and movies like Squid Game. The game consists of three mini-games where player's race to the end of the level as quickly as they can. Players are awarded points depending on how quickly they complete the level and the player with the most points at the conclusion of the games wins.

Systems Development
My primary goal for Recess Shuffle was to allow the player as much expression as possible in the game. Without a chat system in this prototype, customization felt like a good way to allow the player to express their identity and feelings to others. This meant developing extra cosmetic system for the game that allowed players to choose their name, colors, and hats. Some of the core systems in this development included:

Networking System (Using Photon PUN)
Cosmetics System
Audio System
User Interface System
Score System

Designing User Interfaces
Another one of my main goals for this project was to design and implement a UI system that was both functional and looked appealing. Some of the core functionality of this UI system includes:

Customizable Player Cosmetic Menu
Networking Menu
Lobby Waiting Screen
Loading Screen Between Scenes
In-Game Pause Menu
Player HUD
Scoreboard
